The Jan Vikas Kendra program of CSA took initiative to celebrate the International Women's Day at the Hingna Industrial Area, bringing together prominent people and local organizations from the area. About 50 people took part in the event. The meeting focussed on the theme, "Life and Livelihood," discussing key issues like Self Help Groups, Social Security and Women's Rights. Some of the prominent people who spoke at the meeting included Mr Vinayak Ingle (Editor, Dainik Sakal), Nagsen Fulzele (Destitute Women and Child Welfare, Govt of Maharashtra), Ms Asha Burnule, Mr Rajesh Jhadav and Mr B. Padmakar.
